If you like the sound of D-Style amps but are bothered by the design limitations, then your dream will soon come true.

We have been building a wide variety of D-Style amps for years, analyzing them, performing them live ourselves and have now created an unprecedented amp platform that can be individually adapted to your needs. 

With our amps you can easily explore the tonal world of D-style amps because we have already integrated the most important tweaks that make each of the D-amps so different. 

Sorry, but the rest of the sound comes from your fingers! 

 

Just Another D-Style Amp?

Our amps are based on the ideas of the original Mr. HAD ODS amps and are always able to produce the familiar sounds. We do not offer, as is often the case, a replica of a specific serial number, but rather the simultaneous implementation of many fundamental ideas from this amp genre, but have also added useful things that qualify it as a modern platform of the 21st century. Despite their complexity, our amps are hand-made and combine modern circuit design with real hand wiring where necessary and important. 

We ourselves are long-time live guitarists and electrical engineers with decades of experience in digital and analog circuit design.

General:          

·      Purely Analog Tube Amp, Zero Latency!

·      5 triodes, 2 x 6L6GC/EL34 (Power 50/25W, fixed bias), american-made heavy duty transformers

·      Other power amplifier tubes/performance classes (2x6V6, 4xEL84) according to customer requirements

·      Combo 1x12 and Headshell Versions

·      DC heater for low-noise preamplifiers, passive components, high-temp grades

·      Bias pots and measuring points accessible externally

·      Holy Grail Service Area for individual tweaking (more to come)

·      Tolex, corners, faceplates customizable

·      Automated biasing and MIDI control prepared (MCU module tbd)

 

True dual channel design: 

Skyliner and Fender/Bandmaster tone stack with various tweaks.

Real D-Style Fusion sounds AND real Fender shimmering cleans are now finally possible without compromise.

 

Dual plate mode:

You determine at which operating point (Hi/Lo plate) your amp works with which stack and thus define the basic spectral behavior (from early 70s to late 80s)

 

Overdrive:

D-Style Overdrive singing “Talk to your daughter”! Switchable HRM mode as an important additional sound option that gives the amp that wooden OD.

OD can be selectively switched on to both channels. 

Cold Clipper option for more even harmonics if you like it more towards KF Train Wreck.

 

FET boost:

            Switchable via footswitch gives you additional dB for breakup and enforcement.

 

Promote mode:

            Use the footswitch to increase the volume and tonal response of the power amplifier.

 

Dual mode digital reverb:

Studio quality reverb with two programs that can be assigned to Overdrive and Clean. Each program has its own mix and decay control for the room size. The reverb is integrated into the tube effect loop in such a way that the effect is just mixed in. Forget about rattling or broken reverb spirals!

 

Pre-loop:

Switchable effects loop between instrument and first stage, can also be used as tuner/instrument out.

 

Post loop (serial):

            Real integrated Tube D-Lator with post loop master volume, send/return level.

Switchable via foot switch.

 

Ext MixIn, virtual Channel 3:

In conjunction with Pre-Loop Send, you can use your beloved digital amps as a virtual 3rd channel and mix them directly into the tube powerstage. Who else can do that?

 

Pre-Master Out:

Stay best friend of mixer and band colleagues:

Send the signal to the FOH mixer via an external cabinet emulation with a defined level, but use the Amp Master as a personal monitor. 

 

Intelligent Preset footswitches (Ethercon):

Settings for both channels can be selected independently and only become active when the channel is selected. A maximum of 10 amp parameters can be switched (with an additional 2nd foot switch). We find that these tonal changes are an important part of musical expression and offer them a unique, intelligent control option. No amp modeler can do that!
